The TUM Gender Equality Officers are the central point of contact for female students and researchers at TUM!
They support the university in fulfilling its gender equality mandate. The Bavarian Higher Education Act introduced the office of Gender Equality Officer (TUM Gender Equality Officer) in 1988.
The primary task of the TUM Gender Equality Officers is to ensure that female researchers and students are not disadvantaged (BayHIG, Art. 22).
The TUM Gender Equality Officers also participate in the Senate and the Extended University Executive Board as voting members and continuously support gender equality work in the University Council.
