As part of the online lecture series “Understanding the Menopausal Years – Staying Well-Informed During This Time of Change”, the TUM Gender Equality Office and TUMgesund invite you to another workshop specifically focused on herbal therapy approaches during menopause.
The event will take place online on May 6, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and is aimed at female employees of the Technical University of Munich (TUM) as well as interested staff members who wish to expand their knowledge of this life phase.
Holistic Perspectives on Health During the Menopausal Years
Under the title “Herbal Power for the Menopausal Years”, various herbal therapy approaches will be presented and placed within a holistic health context. The focus will be on what natural support options are available, how they work, and how they can be meaningfully integrated into individual daily lives.
The workshop will first offer a concise, scientifically grounded overview and then provide space for open discussion and individual questions. The goal is to provide guidance and support participants in making informed and self-determined decisions for their own well-being.
Dialogue-oriented format for individual questions
The series of sessions is deliberately designed to be dialogue-oriented: In a safe setting, personal experiences can be shared, uncertainties addressed, and different perspectives discussed. This creates a space that combines information and exchange and highlights the diversity of individual life realities.
The event is part of a multi-part series but can be attended independently of other sessions.
Participation takes place online. Registration is required via the event page for the session on May 6. The access link will be provided after registration.
